What security features do you have?

Gated access with key pad entry, surveillance cameras, well lighted, and perimeter fencing, are all present at STOR-IT Thomasville. A unique PERSONAL code will be set up for you when you rent your unit. THIS IS NOT A COMMUNITY CODE. Enter this code plus # and keypad entry gate will open.

What climate-controlled options do you have?

Our climate-controlled self storage units keep your items both cool and dry, ensuring they remain in the top condition they deserve. We have a variety of sizes ranging from 5 x 5 (smallest) to 20 x 20 (largest).

How do I rent a self storage unit from STOR-IT Thomasville?

Do you sell boxes, locks or packing supplies?

Our facility does not sell moving supplies or locks.

How is my unit secured?

Our location is secured and only allows entry with your own personal code. You will be responsible for purchasing your own lock to secure your unit as required by our storage agreement and tenant protection coverage.

Do you require/provide tenant protection insurance?

Store with confidence and protect your belongings. Our tenant protection plans offer advantages such as no deductibles and protection for your items. Tenant Protection is affordable and safeguards your items against unexpected incidents. All Units are required to carry our minimum Tenant Protection Plan of $2,000. An additional $12.00 per month will be added to your rental for your Tenant Protection Plan. (Additional coverage is available for and additional charge). Does STOR-IT Thomasville have access to my unit?

You have total control of who has access to your unit. STOR-IT Thomasville is prohibited and will NOT have access to anything stored in your unit.

Do I need to sign a long-term lease for storage?

You are not required to sign a long-term storage lease. When you are ready to move out, we request at least 5 days' notice before vacating your storage unit.

Customers can rent available storage units online, make payments online, and manage their storage account without needing to visit an on-site rental office.

When can I move in?

If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, and you have rented and paid for your unit, you can move in daily between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm. Go here to rent your storage unit.

Are there any items that are prohibited to store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials, and perishables are items that aren’t allowed in any of our storage facilities. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

How much notice do you need before I move out?

All of our leases are on a month-to-month basis. However, we do request at least 5 days notice before moving out of one of our storage units.

Can I rent a parking space for my RV or Boat?

Ideally located on US Hwy 19N in Thomasville,GA, our facility makes accessing your boat, camper, motorhome or RV both convenient and fast. We offer uncovered outside parking for your trailer, boat, or large motorhome. Our facility is GATED, SECURE, and MONITORED 24/7 with EXTRA LARGE driveways. What size storage unit do I need for a one-bedroom apartment?
